changes...why cant they be avoided?

Quite alot has happened but i havent had the time to pen them all down...it's finally (OR unfortunately...) saturday already (because yesterday was my last day in childcare and it has arrived and gone just like dat)...and i'm drinking my hot milo, trying to put my feelings into words into a blog..

yanno..sometimes, i feel that i got so many ppl (my good frens and family of cuz) to tell whatever that's been happening in my life for that day or that week...and i dunno whats the problem...but most of the times, even after emptying myself to them, i still feel that i got no one to share it with...do you get what i mean?

last tues, went out with my oldest best friend (Ting!) after school..decided i owed her an outing since i kept falling sick and was ever soo busy to go out with her every time she asks me out...went to watch Lake House and ate and walked around abit..went to pasar malam nearby our houses...i felt comfortable even after so long...she has changed, both inside and out...but well, everybody change...and it's not always a bad thing, and in ting's case, it's not. Deep down, i believe that ting is still the girl i knew back in sec sch..with a little changes here and there but overall, she hasn't changed much.

She, like me, was feeling wistful and down (a little...Ha!) after watching Lake House...(dun worry, you Sandra Bullock-Keanu Reeves fans, it's a good ending! I am too, by the way!) but the upsetting thing was that the plot in the movie is not real. There is no such thing and there will never be a man like that. Period.

Which reminds me...was watching Oprah the other day, cant remember which episode, she said, "Cinderella has destroyed alot of us women."

I'm afraid she's right.

Life can never be like a fairy tale.
It can never, ever be like what you read in stories and poems.
And movies are no exception.

Hmmm..now i just got to believe it.

Anyway, on a lighter note, Kenrick asked me a so-very-innocent question at lunch
...which was hilarious!

Kenrick: Teacher Suri...is it...is it....is it.......

Me: What is it Kenrick??

Kenrick: Is it that tall girl and silly boy cannot marry?

Me: *chuckled* Huh? Who is tall girl?

Kenrick: Tomi.

Me: Who is silly boy?

Kenrick: Me.

Me: *burst out laughing* Can! But must wait for a few years ok?

Kenrick: Is it until your age?

Me: Uh...a few years older is better.

Kenrick: Oh. That's long.

Hmm...now tell me, why do i feel as if i SHOULD be offended by his last statement?

Hahaha....

P.S: Happy 41st Birthday Singapore! Love you!
