Opinionated? Who me?

Today's 3 hr tutorial was the fun-est of ALL her tutorials (hmmm..no names mentioned - haha) The entire time during tutorial seem like a breeze...well, with the exception of the 1st half hour to 45 mins or so. Hehz..But after we all started playing games, it feels more fun and light-hearted...Wish there were more tutorials like the one we had today. It is, after all our 2nd last semester, so it's kinda good..yanno..bonding and stuff...AND....at least, it wun feel sOo dreadful then...actually it's not really dreadful cuz this semester, the timetable is fantastic, just that the current switch of lecturers that caused the switch of feelings, if u get what i mean..

Anyway, i bet everyone noes that brad pitt and angelina jolie had their baby last Sat at Namibia, Africa or sth..i was on my way home this afternoon and i decided to listen to the radio (Class 95) and Vernetta Lopez was mentioning their baby...i dunno what the fuss is all abt actually...they made the same amt of fuss when tom cruise and katie holmes had their daughter a couple months back..oh! Which reminds me, tom's daughter is called SURI! *smiles*

What a coincidence ah..it means red rose in hebrew and princess in persian...or was it the other way around?? Ha! I kinda forgot..and i also kinda forgot to mention it in my blog, but then again, it's too trivial to go all the way of posting an entry abt it, so since i'm talking abt brad (pitt) now, which led to tom (cruise), i might as well mention my name (HALF my name actually) that's linked to a Hollywood leading man's daughter...who, may i just add, is a naughty bad man who left his beautiful wife, Nicole Kidman for a lady (KAtie HOlmes) fit to be his NiECe! Bleagh! Not that Brad is any better! Did u noe that Brad Pitt is 43! Or was it 41! I cant remember and it doesn't matter anyway cuz either way, he's old! The very fact that he's old, should make him value his earlier LOVE marriage to Jennifer Aniston! Anyway, I would have liked them much better if they had stayed true to their wives AND kept a decent record (Like Brian Littrell! And Shah Rukh Khan..Hehz..)

Which brings me to Mission Impossible 3...i want to watch it but somehow, i always don't. (I wonder why...hmm) I think it's finishing alreadie anyway. So, talking abt MI3 reminds me abt the Da Vinci Code which i was discussing with my sis just now. Like i was telling her, it's over-hyped man..and personally, i dun watch puzzling, confusing, mind-boggling mysteries / stories AND i dun like movies or shows or books or whatever that contains any hint of mockery or discrimination or disrespect to any society, race, religion, illness or has a bad message behind all the glamour n glitz of the story. Period.

I mean, whats the point? If i watch or read these kinds of stories, then aren't i indirectly or directly (whichever u want to put it) supporting it? And why on earth would i want support it - when i have a choice? It makes no sense, isn't it?
It's like glamourizing the bad, whatever they may be. Cuz i dunno how others view it but i personally think that tv, movies, books are a very powerful medium and they do have a very strong influence on ppl. We just dun realize, to what extent exactly. BUT whether it is a positive or a negative influence, well...then it's up for us to decide for ourselves what we want to see, hear or know or..support even!

But then again, i'm entitled to my opinion, other ppl are entitled to theirs. It's only fair...So if they wanna watch, go ahead...in fact, i hope you get ur money's worth..

Talking abt movies, i went to watch X Men, The Last Stand last friday with Nat..it was an impromptu decision and i'm glad i watched it with her...*smiles* I enjoyed myself thoroughly..i've been a lil busy so thats why i didn't post an entry abt the outing earlier. The show was, well..no other way to put it, it was SYIOK! hahaha..it was reallie cool and real nice..though the action scenes are more violent and rough in this X Men movie in comparison to the other two X men..but overall, it's a great movie! =) I like Wolverine...and Cyclops...*sigh*swoons*lol*

But the movie is rather sad...but for my friends who want to watch X Men The Last Stand, stay in the theatre even after the credits have rolled. Cuz there is one scene left that complete the story. I missed it cause nat and i didn't know then. Found out from chrys only on the next night.. =(
