I love you

i have been watching my mom cut and sew fabric to make baju kurung for the past hour...she's reallie very meticulous...NOW i noe where i get THAT trait from...hahaz

...and she's super stubborn as well (i got tat trait too!)

I keep asking her to just send the fabric to a tailor, like we always do, (anyway i dun even see the need for her to sew MORE baju kurung for us cuz we already picked our selection n bought it...) but aniwae, i guess, the more the merrier! So, as i was saying, my mom's stubborn...she said that she doesn't wan to lose touch with her sewing skills.

(can i roll my eyes?)

AND for weeks, months, years...I keep telling her that sewing at night is not good for the eyes but she simply refuse to listen. So tonite i gave up.

i kept quiet after awhile..tired la nagging...hahaz..went to the kitchen and made her a cup of warm milk instead, hoping that it'll make her sleepy and go to bed soon (hahaha)...it is, after all after midnite.

my mom...*sigh* She works too hard la...i'll like to see her rested..better still, shaking her legs but she'll always have sth in mind to do, errands to carry out and whatever not...sometimes, when i think abt it, my mum..she's reallie a selfless person..she always put others before her...and she has always, always been there for me, seeing me thru when i'm at my lowest...no matter what happens, i noe deep down that she will always be there for me to turn to. at times, i just dunno how she does it..such a small, slight woman but such strength coming from within her that jus amazes me..she's gone thru alot but she has never given up. i'm so proud of her...i hope that one day, i'll be able to make her jus as proud too


....aniwae....it's her birthdae today...i bought her a cake from Angie The Choice...expensive sia the cake, more than 50 bucks...but it's okay..my mom deserves it, she has spent much more than 50 bucks on me all my life..aniwae moi going to collect it tom...i mean today..evening. My sisters and me are goin to give her a surprise..i lied to her that i'm meeting aisha for awhile (u dun mind rite aisha? hehez) but in actual fact, i'm gonna collect the cake at Novena Sq and then rush home and celebrate it with my sisters and lewis...the surprise is, she doesn't noe that kak long is comin over..haha..she thinks that kak long is busy and cant come...(she always is anyway) Yay! Cant wait for tom!

I also thot of treatin my mom for a hindi movie on wed..celebrate her b'dae once more after todae..just me and her...hmm..think i'll go buy newspaper on wed mornin or if I’m lazy, go on net and and check the time of the movie..i noe she'll luv it! haha..come to think of it, my mom's pretty easy to please..
